Customer satisfaction is a measure of how products and services supplied by a company meet or surpass customers’ expectations. It is used as a key performance indicator on how a product affects its target market and will also give marketing methods for penetration or expansion in further target markets.
To gain information on customer satisfaction, companies usually implement strategies such as call centers, suggestion boards, email, survey’s, FAQ’s etc. These methods of feedback are used to improve a company’s product or services to ultimately increase sales.
Once customer feedback are analyzed and the quality of the product/service is sufficient, the company then must maintain its standard to its customer and continue to gain feedback. This gives the company valuable information on competitors as well as any change in the cultural behavior in its targeted market.
